Step by step of the quilt appraisal process will be explained.  The importance will be discussed. 

A variety of quilts will be presented from different decades.  Applique, Crazy, Block, Embroidered, History and the process are some that will be included.

What should you do with a quilt top?  How does it relate to the value once done.  

Quilt Preservation, Conservation, and Restoration will be highlighted as well as how to repair your quilt.   Basic quilt care and cleaning will be covered.

Bring in a quilt or two and we will talk about the date, construction techniques, origin, blocks, style, history, etc. Values will not be discussed.

Quilts from several eras will be shown.  Timeline of fabrics, sewing aids, and block styles will be discussed.

Bring in your quilts and I will teach you how to repair it.  Supplies will be provided.

Bring in your quilt top and we will get you started on finishing it.

Let's Paint a quilt block on to a 12" square board.  Supplies are included.  Please dress for painting and bring an apron!
